班長， 梁兄， Sanding problem: how to fix dark spots

I rented a drum sander from HD. After running 24, 60, 80 and 120 sanding, there are a few dark spots (lower than rest) because sander cannot reach these spots. How to fix these spots not getting sanded? 

Using orbit sander?
