The proper way to build a tile shower is little complicated,

first, it requires to put down a thick ruber in the floor to prevent water leak, then por concrete on top of that.wait the conrect to dry, then lay the tile. If do it properly, it is time comsume process. I think leaking shower was caused by short cut or didn't follow the proper process.
