Lessor has a condo near campus. A student will rent it. The parent of the student will sign the lease in another city. The lease will start on Aug 10. The possible steps are:
(1) Lessee will sign the lease provided by lessor, first. Mail lessor the lease, and deposit
(2) On Aug 10, Lesssee will pay lessor the rent of Aug. Lessor will sign the lease, and give lessee the key.
Questions:
Are above steps OK? What date (in the body of lease, not the the date for siguture) should be used as the date to enter the lease?
