求教關於basement

basement有walkout的門，想把地毯換掉，HomeDepot的建議換vinyl,反對用 laminate，但vinyl很薄很薄，走在上麵恐怕不舒服吧， 下麵可是水泥啊，而且不便宜，要1.69/sq feet。用便宜的laminate （7mm）的隻要0.69-0.99per sq feet,但HomeDepot講laminate不宜用在basement，不防水。

請教這裏的高人，該如何處理妥當？
