However, each city has its own special assessment like for the park, school district, community college, and etc.
Also, some newer communities have Mello Roos special assessment which can be very expensive.
So even in the same city, the property tax rate could be different for different communities.
So it really varies for each property.
I have properties in different cities: the property tax is 1.25% for one old house, 1.7% for one property and 2% for some houses.
