My point of view, even there indeed is 輸入通脹 in Canada, Canadian government can not raise interest rate. But on the other hand, because of eurozone debt crisis, Canadian dollar will become safe heaven for investors, meaning people will put their money in CAD, which in turn will bring down interest rate even further. We have seen 5-year fixed term mortgage rate at 2.99% in early of this year, and it was on special promotion. Later, we might see 5-year fixed term mortgage rate below 3% at regular base.

Talk is cheap, let's wait and see.
