Pat pat. I heard not all request for escrow closure will be granted. So it is not for sure the escrow can be closed after 4 month.
NYCB bank only let the escrow be closed after 2 years. My mortgage with WF in 2009 allows no escrow at the beginning, no extra cost, and the rate was same with or without escrow. The escrow requirement and cost for escrow waiver seems differ from bank to bank.
