地板蛀蟲 (POWDERPOST BEETLES)

We are interested in buying a house (South Florida, 1 story house). The property disclosure mentioned that there were POWDERPOST BEETLES on wood flooring 1.5 years ago, and there was no treatment.

 

We are concerned about the cause and the severity of the beetle infestation. When we want to make an offer of purchase for this house, (home inspection is to be conducted after purchase contract agreement, as normal procedure), do you have suggestion how ourselves can evaluate the problem.
