Just wondering if this is required by the law or a general good practice? I have been following this for other rental properties. but now I am wondering which one, only one name in the lease or both roommates in lease, would give benefit for the late eviction if just one of the roommate qualified the house but not the other?
I think if only one person in lease, and if this person leaves, that would give me more legal ground to evict the roommate since the roommate's name is not in the lease and there is no reason why he/she stay in my property. Right?
This thought might be too naive, really like your comments on it.
