The US government will not default because they can always print, in doing so they are fueling the biggest bull market ever in gold.

This is the very basis for bullish gold into the forseable future. Price target is irrelevent, it's all in the $IMF$'s effort to save the system. The bigger the effort, the higher gold price goes.
