When I negotiated the price with the builder back in Nov 2008, I asked a price that initially the builder did not accept. After a few days back and forth, they finally said ok on one condition: I won't have an agent. At time I thought I don't really need an agent since I did all the work. So, I said ok.
During the build process, the builder gave me lots of troubles. They simply ignored most of my requests.Looking back, I would rather paying a good agent 3% than having to deal with the builder myself.
