it depends. I work directly for an billionare in Texas as excutive accountant. Basically i have dealt with many private banking expert and bankers. Each big bank (like UBS, GS, JPM), they all have private banking division. then each divisional SVP is delicated to several very wealthy clients. When i say wealthy, i meant cash asset at least over 100 million. It is about networking. if you can catch a big fish, basically you will be set in the firm/bank. such as the banker i work with now, he got my owner as client couple of years with asset under managed for over 500 millions. he is SVP in the bank. I am very positive that he is pretty set in the bank.
