Y Combinator 首席執行官 Garry Tan 表示，大約四分之一的當前 YC 初創公司中，95% 的代碼是由 AI 編寫的。
“這對創始人來說意味著，你不需要一個 50 人或 100 人的工程師團隊，”Tan 說道。“你不需要籌集那麽多資金，資本可以支撐更長時間。”

Y Combinator 由 Paul Graham、Jessica Livingston、Robert Morris 和 Trevor Blackwell 於 2005 年創立。該公司向初創企業投資 50 萬美元，以換取股權。這些創始人隨後進入位於舊金山總部的為期三個月的項目，並從合夥人和 YC 校友那裏獲得指導。Demo Day（演示日）是吸引額外資本的一種方式。
