They don't want to work and just enjoy benefits. But the worst is that they started to turn against people who are hard working in nature. Such as Asian hates that came with BLM.
I worked as a government contractor between 2000 and 2010. I worked in a small group. There were three government employees. One owns a Lama farm, She buy, breed and sell Lama. I usually saw her once a week. The second one own a bookshop. The third one often do teaching and lectures somewhere. I am the one to complete all the works, But even that, my work is pretty simple. I usually completed them in two weeks for a three months project. I often feel bored so I usually do DTs at work.
So... don't feel too bad those government employees who got fired. Especially the senior ones. They usually run their own business. And they have pensions.
Even we cut 30%-40% of the government jobs, it won't matter. They just need to be careful not to cut important positions.
But anyway, changes are always painful. There will be winners. There will be losers.
