Why do we want to build our own ETFs

Very simple, Fees. 1% doesn't seem much. 20 years, it's a lot. If you select 7 sectors, choose 2-3 leaders in each sector. Building an ETF isn't that difficult.

Many ETs and funds can't beat S&P, simply because of fees.
