could you please let me know how you find a reliable agent?

could you share your experience to find a reliable agent?  it is acceptable that we put the money in China,  we just want to have the documentation cleared so that we do not need to spend time back and forth.  My father's neighbor wants to buy the house thus reached out to us with saying we both want this deal, thus could save agent fee.  But based on what we learned in the last couple of days, it seems finding an experienced agent to handle the documentation and get this deal sealed is our first priority.
