I had quite a few networking stocks. Good one would loose about 90% (bad ones 95% or 99%). JDSU... I lost confidence in stock market and sold them at heavy loss and paid off autoloan. Total stock loss worth a few years' work.
But the year(s) before that crash was really happy. This and that competitor went IPO, worth $B. Everyone was thinking their stock option value if that start up went IPO. (Over $100M investment).
