I think 2008 was the peak. Giving you an example:

My classmate in Canada came to visit us in 2010, and bought 2 condos  in 2010 and 2011 with the help of my wife. The buying prices were around 45K to 50 K

But  these two condos were bought by the previous owners in 2008 around 215 K to 232 K
