剛查了一下 樓上的兩位說的更準確

你這個case不能claim AOTC了，隻能claim LLC， 但是LLC是non-refundable的。所以對你的case不一定能用上

The maximum amount you can claim on the LLC is $2,000 per year, compared to $2,500 for the AOTC. The AOTC can only be claimed for the first four years of undergraduate studies, while the LLC can be applied to undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as some trade schools and professional programs. The LLC is not refundable. So, you can use the credit to pay any tax you owe but you won’t receive any of the credit back as a refund.
