Once I rented a car and my SUV lost control (could not steer) after a snow day (melted but there is water on high way). My car bumped into wheels of big truck in next lane and spun onto exist (did not flip). Big truck did not even notice probably. The car was totaled. My insurance paid but somehow rental company still have me pay $2-3 k.
I was lucky that I survived with no harm at all.
