一個roofing ompany幫我和保險公司交涉屋頂的事情，估計他們也不是很有經驗，用了一個無法找到和舊的瓦片相匹配的原因claim, 被保險公司拒了，roofing ompany也沒有招。但是過了一段時間，不知為什麽， 保險公司又給我發信，說理賠通過了， 但是金額隻有1萬7多一點 （除掉我的自付deductible部分，他們也就付一萬二多一點）。我都搞懵了，以為他們發錯了信，事後我想可能怕我去complaim。
後來這個roofing ompany估計也有打電話給保險公司，知道理賠通過後，要和我簽個合同。我不知道是不是合理的合同還是怎麽樣，有一句我覺得有些風險， 它說： 如果保險公司同意了你的賠付，我們也認可了損失報告中確定的範圍和價格，那我的費用就是deductable. 但是下一句，說如果你需要做另外的工作，而保險公司沒有批準， 那你要自付。 這句話伸縮性很大， 我的保險公司賠的好像不夠換屋頂的全部費用，我怕屋頂公司如果沒有從保險拿到足夠的錢， 但是開工了，做的公偷工減料， 我都沒有法說。或者因為這個條款，向我要加錢，那我可就虧大了，畢竟我不懂。
roofing ompany還是會和保險公司交涉， 但是我簽這個字就等於把主動權交到roofing ompany手裏了。我該如何保護自己。謝謝！
You have no obligation to XX under this Contract unless your insurer approves your claim and XX
approves the scope and price identified on the statement of loss that you receive from your insurance company. By signing this Contingency Contract, you authorize XX to assist you in reaching an agreement on scope and price with your insurance company on your claim. If your insurance company approves your claim, and if XX approves the scope of work and price identified on the statement of loss that you receive from your insurance company, then, by signing below, you authorize XX to complete the replacement of damaged property identified on the statement of loss with no additional cost to you except for your insurance deductible, subject to the terms and conditions on the reverse side of this Contract. If you request additional work beyond that described on the scope of work provided by your insurance company, you will be responsible for paying any charges incurred for such work. If this Contract is not accepted within thirty (30) days, it shall be automatically withdrawn. This Contract is approved and accepted. I (we) understand that there are no oral agreements or understandings between the parties of this agreement. The written terms, provisions, plans (if any) and specifications in this Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Additional provisions of this Contract continue on subsequent pages. This Contract is not effective until signed by an authorized representative of both parties.
