從Home Depot 買的負責安裝的Rheem熱水器才四年半就漏水了

是12年warranty的50噸的熱水器，讓管道工檢查了，是灌漏水了，需要全部更換。打電話給Rheem客服說同意更換。讓我們把舊熱水器送到當初購買的HD store，要自己負責送去和換新，而且也不負責安裝. 這樣我們自己安裝的話可以嗎？不需要新的permit了嗎？還是必須找licensed plumber?
