Who is the more qualified tenant?

 

Newer house 5 br; B + Neighborhood.

A. Has Security Deposit; W2 job; income: 40-50k/year; Grandmother with 2 grandchildren (total 3 occupants); Rent portion: $1080; Credit score: 500 with $3000 collections; served late rent payment (not sure how many times) and $1500 past due credit card bill. At 20s (40 years ago) drug and another criminal background. Monthly rent: $ 3430 ($2250 from housing). Son helps pay utility sometimes.

B. Mother with 6 kids; No Initial Security deposit; possible getting SD from current landlord to pay me after move-in; Rent portion: 0; No job/income; planning to go to work; 1 bedroom + voucher than A; Has not done credit/background check; report $8000 car payment collection (car will be auctioned). Monthly rent: $ 3800 (all from housing).

Both are willing to let me do a home visit.
