離婚中的租客能租嗎？

Lesbian, 工作在apple, 很穩定，月工資是4X rent. 一個人一隻貓入住，願意付double deposit加last month rent.
缺點是credit很低，隻有549，有六個collection，加起來隻有$4000刀，也不知道為什麽不付掉, 自陳是spouse搞的。從19年開始separate, 到現在還沒有settle, 不知道要給多少alimony，沒孩子. 而且emergency contact留的是還是spouse。

租客還說要租一年，會build credit, 希望一年後能買房。可是這種連離婚都沒完成的情況怎麽build credit? 感覺不太合理。
