暖氣/空調管道獨立的townhouse，租客說這兩天聞到intake vent有cigarette smoke的味道，會是怎麽回

兩個星期前新換了 water heater。會和這個有關嗎？

這個涉及到安全問題，不敢掉以輕心，但是又實在沒有idea會是什麽原因。不管是furnace 還是water heater，如果有burn的氣味，跟抽煙的味道還是不一樣吧？租客兩人都不抽煙，這兩天他們好像也沒發現有鄰居在外麵抽煙。會是什麽可能的原因呢？
