AC管子滴水，需不需要attic insulation？

Attic老鼠成災，把insulation都破壞了，AC管子滴水，挺多的，attic裏有一大片mold. 現在rodent control已經去了，接下來要fix AC滴水的問題。contractor建議重裝insulation, 要三千。我覺得condensing 的問題不是隻要把管子用foam包起來就行了嗎？真的需要重新裝所有的insulation嗎？請大家給點建議！
