我是真的不懂加州的搞IT 的地主

每當我看到這麽多的地主都是在加州的， 我是真的不能理解他／她們。

 

有過統計， 一個人的賺錢能力會在50 左右達到高潮。

假設加州的 IT 人在50 歲前沒有任何積蓄，所有的錢都來供養自住房和小孩的教育和自己的其它開銷了。

 從50 歲開始存錢，假設工資 30萬。 

從 2019 開始， 員工可以存 稅前 $19,000,  大多數的公司match 員工的 6%工資, 換言之， 公司貢獻 $300,000的6%， 就是$18,000,  再加上 IRS 的 對50歲以上的人照顧， 可以多放 6000.

 

所以每年可放 19000＋18000＋6000 =43000, 按每年12% 的 收益， 15年後可以達到 2M。

 

2M 不是很多錢， 但在自住房付清的情況下， 再加上 政府的退休金就足夠了。覺得不夠， 賣了加州的房子， 搬離加州。

 

我覺得加州 IT人太稽人憂天了， 沒必要犧牲生活質量去做地主。
