如果類比，這個學比較接近藝術學習的進程，而不像理工科目的學習。設想一個學習藝術的人回顧:

吾十有五而誌於學， I was determined to become an artist at 15.

三十而立，i brought my artistic training to completion at 30.

四十而不惑，i established a personal style at 40

五十而知天命，my art reached spiritual maturity at 50.

六十而耳順， ( not interpreted)

七十而從心所欲，不逾矩。I finally acquired complete freedom in expression at 70.

八大山人差不多就這進程。
