I tend to think that christianity and Buddhism are very differen

People just pretend that they are equivalent ultimately either in order to be politically correct or to protect Christianity.

慈悲 and 愛 are different. I have observed that many people can love but they don't have 慈悲心. They can be very brutal while they love just like many Christians historically.

I am not a formal Buddhist but I think Buddhism is far superior to other religions.
