謝謝分享。。。 這句話的意思是：

For whoever wants to save their life^[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.

 

If we consider ourselves (our own soul) the master,  and want to live our own way (soul without God as source of life and direction) - whether it is 禁欲 or 縱欲,  we will always end up dead. We will lose God, and ourselves too.

 

But if we decide to live our life in Jesus and for Jesus, with him as our Lord and source & direction, we will end up finding both....  We will have God because He will live in us,  and we will gain ourselves too - because our sould will be full of life through the relationship with Him.

 

This is what we call 雙有， 雙贏。 The key of this is to humble ourselves and stop pretending or assuming we are God,  rather face the real God, repent for our sins, and receive His love and forgiveness  through Jesus Christ who died for us and gave out his life for us.
