生命的祈禱--詩人裏爾克

讀書： Selected Poems RILKE /裏爾克詩選

裏爾克是歌德之後最出色的德語詩人。介紹說他稱自己的詩集The Book of Hours (時間之書）為"prayers/祈禱" or "life-worship/生命的祈禱"： “it would be untrue to assert that the God he so frequently invokes has no relation to the God of region and that the 'prayers' are addressed only to himself......there was something which, however much it may differ from true religion, can only be called religions." (若斷定他頻繁籲求的神不是宗教的神，祈禱是他對自我的訴說，是不確切的。。。他詩裏有些，即使有別於真的宗教，卻隻能稱之為宗教的東西。

列出三首真的：1, Adam/亞當，44頁；2, Eve/夏娃， 45頁  3, The Raising of Lazarus/拉撒路的複活，72頁

他備受北島推崇且翻譯的”秋日“/Autumn Day，是對神的私語：

Lord, it is time. The summer was so great. 

主啊，是時候了。夏天盛極一時。

Impose upon the sundials now your shadows

把你的陰影置於日晷上

and round the meadows let the winds rotate.

把風吹過牧場。

 

Command the last fruits to incarnadine;

讓枝頭最後的果實飽滿；

vouchsafe, to urge them on into completeness,

催它們成熟，

yet two more south-like days; and that last sweetness,

再給兩天南方的好天氣，把最後的甘甜

in veigle it into the heavy vine. 

壓進濃酒。

 

He'll not build now, who has no house awaiting.

誰此時沒有房子，就不必建造，

Who's now alone, fore long will so remain:

誰此時孤獨，就永遠孤獨，

sit late, read, write long letters, and again

就醒來，讀書，寫長長的信，

return to restlessly perambulating

在林蔭路上不停地

the avenues of parks when leaves downrain. 

徘徊，落葉紛飛。
