You have likely misinterpreted.

The previous post reported that 25% of Lin's total FGs = Catch & Shoot. His overall FG% = 41.2%

A "catch and shoot" is defined as any jump shot outside of 10 feet where a player possessed the ball for 2 seconds or less and took no dribbles"

Lin's Catching & Shooting FG% is 14.3% per the stats on the NBA website.
