As for WB's crazy 3 pointer air-ball, oh pleeeease, Paul stood straight without leaving his feet, what a bailout call.
Sure, if Clippers made all the right plays, refs couldn't screw them even if they wanted to. But a more serious question is, why should any team plan to offset refs' screwing?
Why Doc Rivers earned my respect today? Because he stood up and played the game the right way. It is a game, and refs are huge part in the game. Smart coaches play refs with calculated rage and anger, just like the Zen Master and Pop. Doc let it full out at the press, and he's willing to take a hefty fine. But 1. he put pressure on the league to next game, 2. he stood behind his players and prepared them for next game - we made mistakes but we were robbed. We are angry, and we are going to war. It's the whole world against us.
