I admit too that it has been a torture lately to watch him struggling.  I can, and I have to, accept what is, and what will be happening.  I know I cannot help him, or change the outcome, but I choose to watch, to wish/hope, and to be tortured.  I actually feel better this way!  It is a torture, but it is a chosen torture, so I will suck it up and just watch.
