in most cases sacrifice is just a convenience

when someone needs an excuse to rob you of what you rightfully deserve. it's foolish to impose your oriental "virtues" in the west where people always look out for themselves first. chances are instead of being lauded for the sacrifice, people just party on your loss and secretly deem you too weak to fend for yourself.
