Amber

Amber

 

When the moon shines,

I hear my amber pendant chime.

It’s from the firefly within,  

singing a song eternalized by resin.  

I see her beam, 

and my chest lighted by her gleam. 

I find my heart’s harbor,

where a tree’s tear glows in amber.
