前不見古人，    

後不見來者。    

念天地之悠悠，

獨愴然而涕下！

Looking into the past not see the ancients,
Looking into future not see the newcomers, 
Think of the heavens and earth that are infinite and long-lasting,
I am alone, full of sorrow, and bursting in tears.
