This is purely my imagination.
我認為，生命的出現，不會是分子的偶然聚集。就象人體，受兩個因素控製，按預定的計劃發展：腦細包，肝細包，muscle, etc., they all develop at the proper time, under the right condition.
These two controlling factors are: 1) DNA; 2) Outside environment.
If we regard the Universe as a living body, it is also controlled by the same two factors. The development of the Universe is according to the Universe's DNA, affected by its outside environment.
In this view, individual life form works together seamlessly to create bigger life form; just like the countless cells in the human body working together to create the human body. No one individual is selfish, they all work towards the bigger goal. How does the "whole" coordinates the "individual"? This is where the second factor comes in. The DNA of the individual life form is controlled by the "outside environment": certain DNA segment of the individual is turned on/off with the changing environment. Each individual can affect the environment; so this is a very efficient way for individuals to communicate to each other, to work together for the bigger "whole".
