let m be the mass of the wood block, d the density of water, and v1 the volumn of water the block repells under the gravity g1 and v2 the volumn of the repelled water under gravity g2.

mg1 = v1 d g1

mg2 = v2 d g2

so v1 = v2.

Ther is no change in the water volumn repelled by the wood block.
