Put one stick/ant in sqrt(3) box and the other stick/ant in normal space. Let two ants start climbing at same time. When the ant in sqrt(3) box reaches the end, mark the outside stick. The mark point is sqrt(3) meter. Then switch two sticks. Let two ants climb again. When the ant in sqrt(3) box reaches the mark, the outside ant is in sqrt(3)*sqrt(3)=1/3meter position.
