【專輯介紹】
The Eagles樂隊成立於1971年，最初一共有四個成員，主唱兼鼓手唐.亨利，主唱、吉他兼鍵盤葛倫.弗萊，吉他手班尼.林登，貝司手倫第.麥斯勒。
樂隊成立後，迅速憑借其超強的實力贏得了歌迷的愛戴，樂隊的成員都能主唱，而且都擅長作曲，這使他們比他人更容易做的更好。
1972年樂隊在倫敦完成了第一張專輯，作品充滿了典型的鄉村搖滾風格。代表作“Take it easy”在當年夏天橫掃整個美國。接著他們又推出了一張具有整體概念的唱片《Desperado》。
1974年唐.費而德加入了樂隊，這使得樂隊更為強大。同年4月的《On the border》推出後，Eagles有前進了一步，他們獲得了同年葛萊美的兩項提名。
1976年喬.沃什代替了班尼.林登，1977年摩西.B.蘇特替代了倫第.麥斯勒。
