You are really doing a good job, especially given that you read on the fly.

Does reading out loud really help us improve our speaking skills? I have serious doubts about it. Some say imitation may be more beneficial.Maybe. 

If I have time, I would join a local Toastmaster International Club to practice public speaking. 

Anyway, just some rambling thoughts.Glad to see someone one from my neck of the woods. Best of luck.
