memorize the spelling and pronunciation are the two primary (or typical) barriers for language learners. because of that, an individual sometimes finds it's difficult to get the right word, or constantly worries about the listener not being able to understand the message. maybe you don't realize the fact that you are actually think in your native language, and your brain cells are working really hard searching for the translation instructions.
therefore, paying attention to the way (including phrase, facial expression, word choosing, the flow of the conversation, and of course the accent/pronunciation) how native speakers express themselves is the easiest way to improve yourself. do not focus on translating everything. instead, try to THINK in the language that you are learning. try to forget the logic of your native language and let your instinct kick in.
