"an"one-hundred-mile should be "A"one-hundred-mile.

critically reexamining the normal state and habitual usages of one's own language, and reshaping one's own language through the process of translation, is never an easy business, in part because it tests the tolerance of one's own language for assuming unaccustomed forms. it also poses a challenge to the power that governs the relations between the languages/discourses and modes of life concerned.
