You don't have to talk about your life from the beginning as some might do. You can tell some stories about your family, friends, work that you feel comfortable to share. For example, you can tell stories to tell them how you end up joining Toastmasters. BTW, the time can be as little as 4 minutes. Toastmasters can be a great program if you take advantage of what it offers. Good luck to you!
