the goal is different, should know others' need

For people living in China, the priority is that they can translate Chinese and English back and forth, and for the most of them, they can read English with the help of the dictionary. For people out of China now, the prority is that they can listen and speak and write in English, they can totally ignore the Chinese and English translation if they have no plan to move back to China to develop their career.

I would not omit the people who learn English for pleasure since there are a few poets here. To me, learning the translation of poems is total waste of my time. I cannot write a poem as my project plan and recite a poem to people who want to know how things work..
