一看到這部英語書籍的標題《The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop》，我就想起了海明威（Earnest Hemingway ）寫過的一個短篇小說：《A Clean, Well-Lighted Place》，不過，海明威的這篇短篇，描述的是一個獨孤的老人，夜深了，也不願望回家，呆在酒吧裏喝酒，一直到酒吧要關門了，才踏著昏暗的街燈緩緩地回他的家，那個讓他覺得冰冷的家，海明威把一個老人的那份不可言狀的孤寂刻畫的淋漓盡致。我也特別喜歡海明威的簡潔的寫作風格。
而Lewis Buzbee撰寫的《THE YELLOW-LIGHTED BOOKSHOP》，生動的記述了作者從童年，到青年，到成年一直對書的那份迷戀和喜愛。He "celebrates the
unique experience of the bookstore--the smell and
