I have listened a lots of standard american engilsh speeches to improve my own. Somehow, I become very sensitive to pronounciations. 穀興 has reached level beyond my grip, any suggestions can go one way or another.

Someone wrote that working on linking and blending of words may actually improve the pronounciation of a single word. 穀興 is very good in linking and blending words if you listened to his speech. Another girl here is also very good in linking and blending. You might consider to learn and practice linking and blending, it may help you improve single word pronounciation.
