Having spent hours on reading and listening to music, I decided to take a break, go outside, and jog in a late sunday afternoon. On the way to the gate of our village, I saw three little Venezuelan girls who were concentrating on preparing taking photos. The girls are about 6 - 7 years old. One of them was studying a camera while the other two were fine-tuning their positions to gain the best effects.
Intrigued by their seriousness, I used my recently learned Spanish words to greet them, "muy linda (very beautiful)!" I passed by enjoying the big smiles of their faces.
Passing golf course, yacht store, and beaches, I had about 1 hour of pretty good jogging around the neighborhood. I was tasting my heavy breathe and sticky sweat, and yearning for a warm shower when I returned to the village.
"Senor, ...fotos...", exclaimed three girls with fast beats of Spanish words.
"Habla iglis? ... I do not understand...", I replied mixing Spanish and English.
"Habla Espanol". A little moment of hesitate, the three girls took an action: one girl was making the camera ready while others ran over towards and closely stood besides me. With their sweetest smiles and elegant postures, I suddenly understood their words.
Life is beautiful and life is joyful, especially with the presence of kids.
