Looking back in history, there are many "adventures" humans did based on "a leap of faith", like ocean voyagers to discover new lands; going to the moon and beyond; transplanting animal organs to the human body; ... to list a few.
Now, I believe we are facing another big challenge. It ain't about discovery of unknown objects, but about ourselves: man-made and rapidly developing Artificial intelligence (aka AI) is everywhere, at work, in life, on and off line ... We are being amused and tested by it at the same time.
This time, I refuse to follow "a leap of faith". I want to keep my eyes wide open and observe. I might give in to it eventually, like I did with the cell phone 
. But I want to know what I'm getting into...
I know I'm in the minority and out of fashion as I often am, but there's nothing wrong to "zig when others zag", and I'm proud to be humbly different.
